School Site
The School is pleasantly situated in a large early Victorian house in some 10 acres on the edge of Epping Forest. Over the years further additions to teaching areas have been made to enhance our teaching facilities. In 2001 two large classrooms with additional peripatetic music rooms were added and in 2004 a new Music, Art and Design Technology studio was opened.
This academic year there will be a major reorganisation of space as our administration , library and Lower Kindergarten will be reorganised and rehoused into larger and improved accommodation.
Every day children play on our Astroturfed playground and there are two large fields available for sporting activities or general play. The oak tree of the school badge stands in the main field, near a rubberised adventure playground, which makes an ideal setting for children to play during the summer months. A large pond provides wild life for nature study.
Parents are encouraged to wait around the rockeries and lawns when collecting their children at the end of school. Children across all age ranges are encouraged to use the gardens and allotments to grow flowers, fruit and vegetables at times during the year.
