Oaklands is fortunate to have a new computer suite with the latest in multi-media computers and peripherals. We have Broadband enabling fast connection to the Internet and speedy surfing. The class teachers take pupils into the ICT suite regularly as part of their cross-curricular tuition of computer skills.

Our Reception Classes learn keyboard and mouse skills through the shapes and number packages, while our older children are used to using the more advanced software packages to create attractive display, draw charts and graphs, word-process texts and use databases and spreadsheets to complement their learning in many of their subjects.

In Year 6 pupils also learn to create web pages and prepare and deliver their own Powerpoint presentations.
