The Oaklands Parents’ Association (OPA)
Oaklands is very fortunate to have a particularly strong and active Parents’ Association.  The elected committee organises a wide variety of social events for school families, such as an annual fireworks party, a children’s Christmas Disco, Quiz Nights and Summer Fete.  The money raised goes towards children’s outings, theatre trips, pantomimes, Christmas parties and general equipment that benefits all children.

The Association prides itself on making new families feel a welcome part of our school and helps with the annual Cheese and Wine evening in early October for new families.  All parents are encouraged to join the Association and fresh ideas are also welcomed.

LATEST NEWS

Oaklands Parents' Association now have a new committee and I am pleased to announce the following: Kate Russell and Charlotte Williams have agreed to be joint Chair, Jo Tresadern takes over as Treasurer and Natalie Newman continues her role as Secretary.  The uniform sale held on Friday 7th October raised £461.  Thank you to those who helped, sorted and sold!
