Having learned about the story of Guy Fawkes and why we celebrate on 5 November, Owls worked collaboratively on this large scale firework picture. Brushes and cotton wool pieces were available to apply the paint which needed to be ‘runny’ according to one child in order to make the desired splatter effects.
Once it was dry they all had the opportunity to add some more paint effects along with some glitter sparkles! It looks great and will be used as the background for our Autumn Festival display.
