Year 6 Houses of Parliament Trip

Year 6 had an enjoyable and informative trip to the Houses of Parliament.

The children were able to view a committee meeting in the House of Commons, from the public viewing gallery.  They took part in a workshop where they posed questions for the local MP Dr Neil Hudson.

They were also taken on a tour and were able to look at the art work and statues that are visible all over the Houses of Parliament.  The Great Hall was particularly impressive where many important state functions take place and where people were able to pay their respect to our late Queen. Year 6 had a great time and were fantastic ambassadors for the school whilst travelling on the London underground.
