It has become a yearly event for the KS2 choir to enter this fabulous competition. The choir, made up of over 35 members from Years 3-6, travelled to St Mary’s in South Woodford on Monday 10th February to compete against seven other schools for a much coveted trophy.
Everyone was exquisitely behaved and performed brilliantly. The adjudicator was particularly impressed with our focus and expressive singing. After our performance we thoroughly enjoyed listening to the other school choirs and all agreed it was a very high standard indeed; the adjudicator wanted to award everyone a prize!
Unfortunately we did not win, but I am so proud of how well the pupils conducted themselves and they should be justly proud of their efforts. Thank you to all the parents who supported us on the day and many thanks to Miss Zaidi and Mrs Ahmed who accompanied us on the trip. Well done everyone!
