Community Partnerships
Oaklands School and The Oak-Tree Group of Schools are actively committed to supporting local and national organisations to create a positive impact in our community. We strive to enrich and inspire our neighbours through charity days, volunteering and sporting collaborations.
Through our charity partners our pupils gain insightful first-hand experience with various issues, motivating them to drive change within their community.
Our charity partners

Oaklands Walk for Hope
The whole school participated in a ‘Walk for Hope’ in aid of Brain Tumour Research. Children and staff walked an impressive 3K in laps around the school field, raising over £600 for this worthy cause.

Funky Hair Day
Our school was bursting with colour and creativity as pupils and staff took part in Funky Hair Day to raise money for the Little Princess Trust. From rainbow mohawks to glittery braids, everyone embraced the fun while supporting a fantastic cause that provides real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair due to illness.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated and got involved, your generosity and spirit made the day a great success and we raised an amazing £196.20!

The Oak-Tree Group Sporting Collaborations
As a group, we enjoy working with local partners including a variety of sports clubs and facilities. We are open to suggestions for further collaboration, within the limits of the Group’s resources.
Our schools make use of multiple sports facilities in the area including Epping Tennis Club and The Connaught Club.
‘We can never fully express how much your assistance means to our hard-working team of volunteers – thank you from the bottom of our hearts!’
