5Z Geography Trip

5Z had a fantastic time on their Geography field trip to the River Lee Country Park, where they reinforced their classroom learning by exploring the natural features of a meandering river. The trip provided a valuable opportunity for the children to observe and document river characteristics and local birdlife in their natural environment, including producing detailed field sketches. They also strengthened their geographical skills through observing and measuring both human and physical features of the area. Birdwatching was a particular highlight, with the children thoroughly enjoying identifying different species.
