U11 Boys Football - ISA Football League

Oaklands U11 Boys football team took part in the last ISA Football league fixture, looking to sign off on a high!

The team started superbly, with the first half performance one of the best we've seen, going 2-0 up. Vallavi getting behind the backline to ghost in and score; 1-0. Our second goal; just pure class! Every player touched the ball, moved it quickly, created space, and after 15 passes without the opposition touching the ball, the ball was laid off to Lennie to rifle home!

The other team resorted to pumping the ball long with every one of their goals were in this fashion. Thiaan put the team up 3-2 in the second half with a ferocious shot. Dwight got 2 lucky goals on the break, and sometimes the better team loses, and that was certainly the case today. Oaklands unfortunately lost 4-3 but the team can focus on the positives from this performance, they were the better playing team!
