Upper Kindergarten enjoy the Wildwoods

Upper Kindergarten pupils made the most of the beautiful sunshine last Thursday afternoon as they headed outdoors for a hands-on learning adventure in the school’s Wildwoods area.

Tasked with the exciting mission of finding mini beasts, the children eagerly explored their surroundings, carefully turning over pieces of wood and searching across the forest floor. Their enthusiasm paid off, as every child successfully discovered a mini beast to observe.

From woodlice and worms to slippery slugs, there were plenty of fascinating creatures to find. Each discovery was proudly placed in a pot and shown to their teachers.

It was a wonderful afternoon of outdoor learning, encouraging a love of the natural world.
