ISA U11 Girls Football Tournament

An amazing afternoon at PowerLeague football centre in Barnet, where our 7 heroes performed astonishingly well!!

In the group stages, they were up against some tough opponents, managing to win game one 2-0, game two 2-1, and then game three 4-0.

As a result, our team finished top, meaning we qualified for the prestigious cup competition against 3 other top placed teams.

In the cup, the girls continued their fine form, beating Southbank 2-1 and Trevor Roberts school 1-0.

It came down to the final game where the girls had won 5 out of 5, and our opponents Channing school the same. We had a few chances and were unlucky not to take the lead, until a deflected effort put them in front, and they ended up winning.

Nonetheless, finishing runners up against 15 other schools, and having a team made up of Year 5's and a year 4 pupil is nothing short of spectacular! The future looks bright!!
