Oaklands Athletics team perform heroically at ISA London North Athletics Championships
On Monday 18 May, Oaklands made the long journey to Bedford International Athletics Stadium to take part in the ISA London North Athletics Championships.
After songs and lots of chatter on the bus, the children took their seats, ready for their respective events!
It was one of the largest events with over 30 schools taking part across the day.
Every single one of the Oaklands pupils should be proud with how they conquered their fears, and did their best against some of the most talented children in the London North area.
Huge congratulations to Vallavi who has made the London North Relay team with one of the quickest 100M times in her race. She will be attending the Nationals at Birmingham NEC, and we wish her the best of luck!
Special mention to these pupils who finished 3rd in their events, and are on the waiting list for Nationals; Ella, Jimmy, Oscar C and Eddie.
