Woodpeckers Oi Frog

Inspired by the 'Oi Frog' series, Woodpeckers enjoyed trying to rhyme their names with an object, just like in the book. Having thought of some brilliant rhymes, we decided to make our own class book, 'Oi Woodpecker!' Each child drew a picture of themselves sat on their rhyming object and then wrote the sentence underneath. We had Zoe sat on a Joey, Flo sat on a bow and Eddie sat on a teddy, to name a few. We put all of their individual pages into one class book which the children were so proud of. Miss Herbert and Mrs ten Houten were also included in the book, sat on Sherbet and Loughton. Our brilliant book is proudly displayed in our classroom for the children to read and enjoy. Amazing work, Woodpeckers!
