WESSP Dynamos Cricket

On Friday 12 June, Oaklands took 8 eager and talented cricketers to the West Essex Schools Sports Partnership U11 Dynamos Cricket competition at Loughton CC.

For weeks and weeks, the boys have been honing their bowling, fielding and batting skills at cricket club, and they certainly showed their pedigree on the day. In a tough group, they won 1 and lost 2, but won their play off match in the afternoon to finish on a high. There were some brilliant catches, run-outs and 4’s and 6’s galore from the batters on a thoroughly enjoyable day for all involved.

Mrs Booth treated them to Oreo’s at the end for their exploits!
