Oaklands School Production of Ye-Ha!

On Friday 26th June, our Year 6 pupils took to the stage at Lopping Hall to perform their end-of-year production, Ye-Ha!, delighting parents, families and staff with a lively and entertaining performance.

Set in the Wild West town of Splodge City, the story followed the townsfolk as they appointed the well-meaning but inexperienced Wilbur as their new Sheriff in a bid to restore order following the antics of the troublesome McNut gang. Along the way, audiences were introduced to a colourful cast of characters, including the scheming Mayor Tex Truman, a mysterious masked hero and her trusty horse Lightning, a pair of questionable tonic salesmen, the local tribe, and some fearless saloon girls, all joining forces in a race to outsmart the villains and uncover the town's hidden treasure.

Filled with catchy songs, laugh-out-loud moments and plenty of Wild West action, the production kept the audience thoroughly entertained from beginning to end.

Every member of the cast performed with confidence and energy, bringing their characters to life and showcasing the hard work they had put into rehearsals over recent weeks. The audience responded with enthusiastic applause, making it a memorable evening for everyone involved.

A huge congratulations to all of our pupils for delivering such a fantastic performance, and thank you to the staff, parents and families whose support helped make the production such a wonderful success.
