Year 5 Science Lesson

Year 5 enjoyed an exciting science lesson exploring the planets in our solar system through a series of research activities and experiments.

Working their way around different stations, pupils created their very own supernova using milk and coloured dye. They also investigated how the consistency of different liquids can help us understand planetary atmospheres, and observed how quickly a solid moved through each liquid added to their test tubes.

On another table, pupils used their tablets to research a planet of their choice, discovering fascinating facts about our solar system along the way.

A fantastic opportunity to develop their scientific thinking and explore space!
