Aspiration Day
There were some fantastic costumes at Oaklands today as our pupils dressed up as what they would like to be when they grow up for Aspiration Day!
We had firefighters, vets, footballers, doctors, train drivers, astronauts and even a few cowboys! It was lovely to see the children sharing their ideas about the future and showing off their outfits in assembly this morning.
We were also joined by Jacob, Director of Epping Forest Food Bank, who spoke to the children about the work they do to support people and families in our local area. His visit comes ahead of our school donation drive next week, when we will be collecting donations to support the food bank.
A big thank you to Jacob for coming in and speaking to us, and well done to all our pupils for getting involved in Aspiration Day. We can't wait to see what the future holds for them!
