Reception go out on their first walk

Reception went on their first local walk of the year as part of their topic, ‘Building Our World’. They explored the different materials used to build houses in the local area, discussing how strong and sturdy they were while learning new vocabulary such as ‘transparent’.

The children also took part in a litter pick, helping to look after their local community and keep the area clean.
