U11 Boys first Independent School Football Association match

A proud moment for Oaklands as we entered an ISFA (Independent School Football Association) football tournament for the very first time, with our U11 boys having the honour of representing the school.

A highlight of the day came when the boys found themselves 2–0 down. Showing fantastic determination, resilience and belief, they fought their way back into the game to make it 2–2. They even came agonisingly close to completing the comeback in the final minute, only to be denied by an excellent save from the opposition goalkeeper!

It was a fantastic example of the character we want our pupils to show through sport - never giving up, working together and competing right until the final whistle.

A brilliant first experience of ISFA football and an exciting step forward for sport at Oaklands. We are incredibly proud of the boys and look forward to many more opportunities ahead!
