U11 Girls continue to improve on the Netball court

Oaklands took eager and energetic girls along to the ISA U11 National Netball Championships at Redbridge Leisure Centre on Wednesday 4 February.

This tournament is always highly competitive and challenging, and so it proved again. In a tough group, our team managed to play some outstanding netball, with every match ending in a tight scoreline. This shows how much the girls are competing, and staying in the game, which is great testament to them working hard at club, and to Ms Booth and Mrs Davey for their continuous hard work and stewardship!

1 goal scored or 1 less conceded could of have the team qualify for the knockouts, but lady luck wasn’t on their side this time around.

Some lovely goals, tremendous teamwork and competitive but fair play were highlights of another great day out for the team.
