Kindergarten Spring Assemblies
Lower and Upper Kindergarten pupils enjoyed welcoming their parents into school for two very special assemblies. The children proudly shared some of the wonderful things they have been learning during the Spring term, delighting their families with songs, stories and creative work.
Lower Kindergarten performed a lively dragon dance to celebrate Chinese New Year and sang a cheerful song their teacher had taught them for Valentine’s Day. The children also proudly showed their parents the beautiful daffodil flowers they had made in class, marking the arrival of spring.
Upper Kindergarten pupils were equally excited to share their learning. They displayed their colourful Year of the Horse artwork created for Chinese New Year and told their parents how much they had enjoyed trying noodles during a themed food tasting activity. The children also spoke confidently about the important community figures they had met this term, including police officers, firefighters and the school’s friendly lollipop lady.
Both classes took the opportunity to celebrate the upcoming Mother’s Day, showing their mummies just how special they are. The pupils sang songs, shared pictures they had painted of their mums and spoke about why they love them so much.
The assemblies were incredibly heartwarming, and the children were delighted to share their achievements with their families.
