4D Microbits

Last week, the class had an exciting introduction to coding using Microbits. The children learned how to programme the devices to display their names on the LED screen and explored how simple code can control what the Microbit shows. As their confidence grew, they began creating interactive programmes, including a fun game of ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ that could be played by shaking the device to generate a random result. The children really enjoyed experimenting with different blocks of code and testing their ideas. It was fantastic to see their problem-solving skills, creativity and teamwork developing as they debugged their programmes and helped one another improve their designs.
