Year 6 - The Arrival by Shaun Tan

Last week in English, Year 6 came to the end of the book that they have been working on, The Arrival by Shaun Tan. We have really enjoyed this book and have produced some lovely work. Pupils focus this week was to create an information text on one of the unusual creatures that we came across in the book. The class thought about what information an arrival to the country would need about this creature.  They considered where they originated, what they eat, how to care for them and many of us included some interesting facts about the creature. Once completed, the pupils work will be on display for all of the class to enjoy.
