OPA Cake Sale for GOSH

Last Friday afternoon, the Oaklands Parents’ Association (OPA) organised a wonderful bake sale to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. The event was a huge success, with a fantastic selection of homemade cakes, cookies, and sweet treats enjoyed by pupils, parents, and staff alike.

We’re thrilled to share that a remarkable £412.75 was raised through the cake sale, an incredible achievement made possible by the generosity and support of our Oaklands community.

The fundraising continued into the weekend, with pupils taking part in a 5K charity run on Saturday. Every single child completed the run, an amazing effort.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who baked, bought, donated, and supported the event, as well as to the OPA for their time and dedication in organising, both events were a brilliant success.
