Woodpeckers learn the importance of Voting

Since voting for the name of the new school caravan, Woodpeckers have been learning all about voting and why it is important. We have had several opportunities to place votes, allowing for choice and autonomy in the classroom. One vote which they most enjoyed was our ‘book vote’. With 2 options, each child was able to vote for which book they would like to read and the majority vote was read at the end of the day.
