Reception's Christmas Show

Reception pupils delighted families this week with their wonderful Christmas show, held in the school hall. Parents were warmly welcomed to enjoy a festive celebration filled with music, learning and plenty of Christmas cheer.

All the children arrived wearing their colourful Christmas jumpers, adding a joyful splash of seasonal spirit to the event. The hall was soon filled with enthusiastic singing as Reception performed much-loved favourites including “Jingle Bells,” “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”

In addition to the musical performances, the children impressed their families by sharing what they have been learning about how different nations and religions celebrate at this time of year. They spoke confidently about Spanish and Chinese traditions, as well as the significance of Diwali and Hanukkah, showing a growing awareness of the diversity of celebrations around the world.

Throughout the show, the children sang with clear voices, remembered all their actions and dance moves, and performed with great enthusiasm and pride.

A big well done to all the Reception pupils for a fantastic performance that brought smiles to everyone’s faces and set a wonderful tone for the festive season.
