U9 Chigwell Swimming Gala

We had some very eager Year 4 pupils, excited at the prospect of taking part in their first ever swimming gala. The venue was Chigwell School, and we were up against Chigwell and Coopersale.

The stage was set, and the cast ready, to showcase their array of strokes they have been practicing for weeks and weeks.

I am unbelievably proud of how each and every one of the pupils, controlled their nerves, and swam with confidence, ending with a huge smile on their faces.

Oaklands managed to come in 2^nd,

and the pupils went home happy…especially after earning a cookie and juice for their exploits.
