Year 1 Breeze Buddies

Year one made ‘Breeze Buddies’ last week as part of their weather topic in Science. The children will be observing the strength of the wind over the next few lessons.

They learnt what a shadow is and how the size, shape and placement of a shadow depends on where the light source is shining from and where the object is sitting. Working in partners to shine a torch at different angles and draw around the shadows cast by the object.
