At Oaklands, the children in Year 6 have taken part in an enterprise project. Organising themselves into teams, they created businesses, with each group receiving a small start-up fund.
The children had to create business plans and marketing strategies, as well as detail any income and profit they made. After careful consideration, Year 6 have decided that, this year, they would like to donate the money raised to the charity Pets as Therapy, an extremely worthy cause!
