Transition have been finding out about 3D shapes in class, learning their names and their properties.
Each class had fun constructing shapes using marshmallows and spaghetti, straws or wooden sticks. In the end the pupils realised that it was easier to make 2D shapes with their materials and then join them together to make a 3D shape.
It was a challenging task but everyone persevered with a little help from friends or teachers and all learnt a lot!
