On Thursday 9 February pupils from Years 4 to 6 took part in the ISA Regional Cross Country race at Bedford. After a long journey down the M1 our pupils braved the elements and contributed to a great day.
We won’t get the official team results until after half term but we can be so proud of our pupils for completing the course and avoiding falling over in the sticky mud. A huge congratulations to all who competed and notable mention must go to Francesca who finished in 20th place and was eager to keep running even when crossing the finishing line!
Marcus also finished in 20th place in the Year 4’s boys race and was even in 2nd place for a long period but a strong field of runners were hard to catch up.
Ciara finished in 19th place and can be proud of her efforts as there were also some very strong girls in her race.
We look forward to more races after half term.
