Book lovers are celebrating their favourite stories once again as World Book Day is back and marking its 20th anniversary! The annual celebration of authors, illustrators and reading is marked in more than 100 countries around the world!
Today our Early Years pupils dressed up as their favourite characters and received precious book tokens to mark the wonder of reading! They also listened to a fantastic story of The Gingerbread Man in assembly, acted out to them by some of the Early Years teachers!
There were some fantastic costumes on show including Willy Wonka, Where’s Wally and lots of lovely princesses- well done everyone!
