Lower Kindergarten were very excited to get their wellies on for the sponsored walk last week, especially as the sun was shining. Some of the parents were able to join them and everyone headed towards the school field to the marching beat of Mrs Rathbone’s drum!
As they walked the children talked about the things they could see … “Big clouds” … and listened to the birds. Some children thought they saw the Gruffalo peeking through the trees! The class finished at the paddock where the children said goodbye to their parents and headed back to the classroom for a well-earned snack.
