On Monday 10 July Year 6 children went on their very last trip at Oaklands, to Kidzania in Westfield Shepherds Bush. The children were in charge of their own learning journey during the day. They were given the opportunity to independently choose from more than 60 real-life entertaining activities in a safe and secure space. These activities ranged from being doctors, dentists, police officers, fire fighters, actors, singers, vets and many more. The pupils developed a wide range of essential skills and attributes including team work, communication, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, emotional intelligence and global citizenship.
Thank you to the Parents Association for organising this memorable trip. It was a wonderful experience and one they will definitely remember forever.
