An Afternoon of Easter Activities with Year 2

Year 2 have been learning about Easter, the resurrection and what it means to Christians. On Monday 12 March they went on a visit to St Mary’s Church in Loughton to find out more.

The children enjoyed a fascinating, interactive talk from Reverend Malcolm MacDonald and everyone received a chocolate egg as an Easter treat!

They then watched a video and took part in some activities about what they had learnt in the church. At the end of the visit, all the children enjoyed a hot cross bun and a drink of juice. Yum!
