This morning our current Year 6 pupils gave us a lovely, but very emotional, assembly about their life at Oaklands School and their hopes for the future. Parents and staff enjoyed listening to an array of songs, speeches from the pupils, special memories and then a presentation of certificates.
After the assembly everyone moved down to the studio to enjoy refreshments and an impressive graduation cake before the traditional throwing of the graduation hats! It was clear to see what close friendships had formed in our Year 6 class, and we are very proud of them all.
