On Tuesday 10 July the Year 5 pupils hosted an afternoon tea for their parents. They started by setting a budget and worked out their costings. Pupils then spent the morning shopping in Sainsburys, ensuring that they received the best deals for their money.
The class then prepared delicious sandwiches such as roast beef and mustard, chicken Caesar wrap and tuna mayonnaise. Following this, the parents enjoyed scrumptious scones with cream and strawberry jam. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the parents also had a lovely time.
