Year 5 and 6 put on a fantastic show on Wednesday of ‘Let the Games Begin’. The play had a fantastic story line that was presented in such an astounding way by the pupils!
The story follows three technology obsessed youngsters visiting their grandma. She becomes increasingly frustrated with their disdain for anything other than their phones and the internet. After rolling Grandma’s magic dice the petrified trio are transported to the strange land of Lady Fortune where they become pawns in her games. Each of them must compete against the devious, devilish diva in a game of their choice to win their freedom and avoid being a game piece in Fortune’s land forever!
The packed audience at Lopping Hall in Loughton cheered and laughed their way through the impressive performance and the children were complimented as it finished on their confidence, singing and dancing.
