‘Be A Teacher Day’

In Year 6 last week, pupils were busy planning and delivering their own lessons to the rest of the class for their “Be A Teacher Day’.

The pupils were all given the opportunity to be a teacher and gave some fantastic presentations. They learned about a fashion designer called Oscar De La Renta and had to design their own formal outfit. After that they had a Zoom lesson where they discovered the work of Antoni Gaudi and finally finished the day with some fantastic artwork called ‘The Four Seasons’.

Pupils also took part in a variety of subjects including: modern dance routines, animation using the I-pads, painting and general knowledge quizzes to name a few.

The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were able to reflect positively on their experience!
