Denzel in 2C bought in his trophy to show his classmates this week. Denzel is a member of the Buckhurst Hill Under 7’s and his team won the cup when they competed in the Leyton Orient Tournament! Denzel played six games and scored lots of goals! We are so proud of you Denzel, well done and what a great team!
Denzel’s’ classmates asked him some questions about his interest in football.
Q: Is football your favourite hobby?
A: Yes, definitely. I have been a member of Buckhurst Hill Football Club for three years.
Q: How often do you go training?
A: When I was younger, I went training every Saturday, but this year my training session changed to a Saturday.
Q: Do you compete in lots of tournaments?
A: Sometimes we play in tournaments but we play weekly matches against other local teams on Saturdays and Sundays, I love it!
Q: Are you playing any football during the summer holidays?
A: My Uncle runs a Football Training Camp in Wanstead so I will be going there for a couple of weeks during the school holidays.
