We introduced the next exciting topic in our Jigsaw scheme in our school assembly to pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2. Jigsaw, the mindful approach to PSHE, brings together Personal, Social, Health Education, emotional literacy, social skills and spiritual development in a comprehensive scheme of learning. The children are familiar with the Jigsaw Friends as well as Jerrie Cat who reminds children to stop and think, so as to practise observing their thoughts and feelings. We are all enjoying working on our second Jigsaw topic which focuses on ‘Celebrating Difference’.
