The children in Lower Kindergarten have been matching animals with their habitats. They looked at pictures of a pond, farm, desert, the arctic, the jungle and the bottom of the sea. They then matched a frog, pig, camel, polar bear, monkey and octopus to the correct habitat. It was a great opportunity to teach new vocabulary and talk about different environments.
Lower Kindergarten went on a colour walk around school. They all found lots of different colours including a red and white cone, yellow flowers, a green basket and a black gate.
