The children had a great week focusing on the Jubilee. The Fox group made cards with the British flag for the Queen. They did this using the finger painting technique, following outlines of the flag and selecting the colours as shown on a template.
They also loved making delicious cupcakes. They listened to instructions and helped with measuring ingredients, mixing and scooping the mixture into the case, and not forgetting the icing and sprinkles on top!
The children were shown pictures of the Queen and then they painted a portrait of her using fine brushes. They produced some wonderful paintings, demonstrating very good hand control, concentration, and using colours appropriately for the activity. Well done Upper Kindergarten!
