On Monday 6 February the newly formed Oaklands Choir performed at the Stratford & East London Music Festival. When we arrived, we discovered there were 5 other schools competing in our class. However, the children conquered their nerves, gave their very best and sang their hearts out. We must have impressed the adjudicator because we were awarded 2nd place and received a trophy! Well done everyone!
