On Monday 5th February, Oaklands KS2 choir competed in the Stratford & East London Music Festival.
Our ‘class’ was called “Christmas in February” and choirs were required to sing two contrasting songs from their Christmas repertoire. This year the bar was extremely high and it was wonderful to hear such polished singing from the different school choirs.
We sang our hearts out and were given high praise from the Adjudicator and although we did not win, the choir can be justly proud of their performance! Well done everyone.
