On Wednesday 29 January 2025, two Year 4, one Year 5 and six Year 6 girls were lucky enough to be chosen for the ISA Netball Tournament to represent Oaklands School, at Redbridge Sports Centre. We have to mention Mrs Booth and Mrs Davey, who have trained us very well and supported us through the whole journey. All the members of the team tried extremely hard and put a lot of effort into reaching our full potential by working as a team. We all tried out new positions and made the dream team!
We had tough competition but we ended up having great fun. Can you believe it! We made it through to the quarter finals, and placed third in our table! Well done to the following players: Margot and Poppy in Year 4, Jemima in Year 5 and Anabelle, Winnie, Kasie, Anais, Isabella and Arri in Year 6. Not forgetting Mrs Booth and Mrs Davey. Well done to everyone who participated!
