Oaklands School is a privately-owned independent school on the borders of South-West Essex and North-East London.  We aim to offer a high standard of education for around 240 children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 11 in a happy, secure and disciplined environment.  

Oaklands is a thriving and successful school that has become well-established in the area and set in some 10 acres on the edge of Epping Forest.  Pupils are taught in small, well-resourced classrooms and children are given opportunities to think for themselves, take responsibility and make discoveries.  Special strengths are developed and extra help is available for any difficulties encountered.  All staff, both in and out of the classroom are highly professional, enthusiastic and committed and set high standards in every aspect of school life.
