The KS2 Swimming team went to the Bancrofts’ Swimming Gala on Wednesday 24 April 2013. Eleven local independent schools participated in the gala. The children all swam well and many came second/third in their individual heats. The Year 3/4 Medley relay team and the Year 3/4 Freestyle relay team also came second in their heats. The Squadron relay team, comprising of two swimmers from each KS2 class came second in their heat. Many of the finishes were very close.
Congratulations to all the swimmers: Amy, Jack and Elliott in Year 3, Libby and Kitty in Year 4, Ashleigh and Amy in Year 5 and Ellis, Trinity and Armani in Year 6.
