On Friday 5 May, the whole school were involved in a sponsored walk as part of their Curriculum Day on ‘Healthy Lifestyles’. All of the children donned their wellies and took a walk either around the school field or the large field at the top of Nursery Road.
The money raised from the walk is going to the NSPCC. To add a friendly challenge to the day, children were able to earn four coloured badges depending on the amount of individual sponsors that they managed to get.
It was a great way not only to raise money for a deserving charity, but also for the pupils to get out and about and enjoy the green space around the school. Dexter the dog had a fantastic time too!
The amount raised will be announced soon…
