A huge crowd of family and friends gathered at Lopping Hall on Wednesday evening for the Oaklands summer production of ‘Porridge’. Year 5 and 6 pupils had been working extremely hard, learning a huge amount of lines to perform a spectacular show.
Pupils had the audience in hysterics with this side-splitting musical comedy that told the story of Private Detective Jack Spratt uncovering the terrifying truth hidden behind the Porridge empire in Happy Valley. Filled with lots of fun characters such as Goldie Lox, barmy Billy goats and a potty police squad, the audience were blown away by the children’s true professionalism and ability to deliver such well-timed and brilliant comedy! Well done everyone!
